Description
The HST program is the Wolfson Unit’s Hydrostatics, Stability and Tank Capacities Program allowing both the definition of hull geometry and also the calculation of the standard hydrostatic and stability parameters of a vessel as well as tank capacity data.
HST and its additional modules HST Loading and HST Damage are currently used by the UK MCA (Ensign Division) for checking all third party stability submissions.
All of our software packages (except freeware) come with free unlimited software help, direct from the Unit’s staff of engineers. Optional support contracts are available covering technical help, training and consultancy.
HST Loading
HST Loading is an additional module to HST, the Wolfson Unit’s hydrostatics, stability and tank capacities program. The module uses the hull definition from HST.
HST Loading calculates:
- weights and centres
- loading conditions
- longitudinal strength
- maximum KG
- intact stability criteria
- inclining experiment data
All of our software packages come with free unlimited software help, direct from the Unit’s staff of engineers. Optional support contracts are available covering technical help, training and consultancy.
HST Damage
HST Damage is an additional module to HST, the Wolfson Unit’s hydrostatics, stability and tank capacities program. The module uses the hull definition from HST.
HST Damage calculates:
- damage stability
- damage maximum KG
- floodable lengths
All of our software packages come with free unlimited software help, direct from the Unit’s staff of engineers. Optional support contracts are available covering technical help, training and consultancy.
